sometimes the best sessions happen...

...on the most ordinary days. this one? a random tuesday evening in august that turned out just right. after weeks of sticky 90-something degree days, we finally caught a break—low 80s, a soft breeze, golden light stretching over the gath family’s farm. honestly, it was one of those nights that just feels like a gift.

shooting on a family’s property always adds something special. the kids are comfortable, the memories are rooted, and there’s no shortage of spots to explore. and when it comes to little ones? that’s the name of the game—exploring, playing, and following their lead.

if you’ve ever tried keeping toddlers engaged for photos, you know it can feel like wrangling squirrels with juice boxes. but that’s where i come in. we don’t force the smiles—we chase them. we let the kids take the lead, and i turn their adventures into memories. (and yes, a little snack bribery is absolutely part of the process.)

 

parents—your only job is to show up, love on your kiddos, and have fun with them. i’ll handle the chaos and catch all the beautiful in-between moments that make your family, yours.

this session was filled with joy, giggles, cowboy hats, and tractor rides—and i wouldn’t have it any other way.
